About Me and My Blog!

Welcome to my blog!

First a little bit about me. I am a college student currently at an upper Midwestern university. I am a bigger girl and I decided that I am going to do something about it. I also wanted to share my journey to becoming fit with you all. I am currently 5'6" and weigh WAAAYYY more than I should. Not that weight matters. Because being healthy is the point.

I am the tiniest bit obsessed with Pinterest, it is where I find all of my recipes and workouts. There are a lot of good looking recipes out there and I am excited to try them. I am going to try to give credit where credit is due so if you find that I have not done so please let me know so I can fix it as soon as possible.

I am following a 'diet plan' on weight watchers. I have found out how to do this successfully for free so I will share the calculators with you as well. I use the smart points system, which focuses on Calories, saturated fat, sugar, and protein. This system is working for me so all of the recipes that I will be posting will have the smart point totals on them. Make sure you consult a doctor before joining any workout program or beginning a diet. I am not a medical professional.

Because I work a full time job and I go to school full time as well, I do have to do meal preparation for the week so this blog will also have very minimal meal preparation suggestions. Also I intend to let you all know what I think of each recipe fresh and reheated. I also may possibly share my meal planning for the week with you all but that is entirely dependent on my schedule.

I also intend to share my workout plan with all of you. This will come out at the first of every month. I will share tips and tricks from my physical therapist friend shares with me to make the probability of injury go way down as well. Again consult a doctor before beginning a workout regime. Try to work out with a buddy to make sure you have proper form and are not going to injure yourself. Again, I am not a medical professional.
